Ann Marie is a best-selling science print journalist (Ryan White: My Own Story) and award-winning television producer who helped develop the PBS series Ghostwriter, CRO, Cyberchase, and Innovation. Ann Marie is the Executive Director of the Science Friday Initiative and is responsible for the TalkingScience fundraising, project development, and outreach.

Ira is currently host/executive producer of Science Friday. He anchors the news/talk show each Friday, bringing radio and Internet listeners worldwide a lively, informative discussion on all things science. His most recent book, Present at the Future, includes some of his on-air interviews with famous scientists.

Lawrence is a world-renowned cosmologist who is Director of the Origins Institute and Co-Director of the Cosmology Initiative at Arizona State University. He is author of several books, including the best-selling The Physics of Star Trek.
Darcy B. Kelley, Ph.D.
Darcy Kelley is HHMI Professor of Biological Sciencesat Columbia University’s Center for NeuroBiology and Behavior. With support from the Howard Hughes Medical Institute, she has developed Frontiers of Science, an innovative sciences curriculum for Columbia undergraduates. She also is scientific advisor to the Ensemble Theatre Company and other theatre and film projects for the Alfred P. Sloan Foundation.
Paul Raeburn
Paul is a science and medical journalist whose work has appeared most recently in The New York Times Magazine. Former editor and correspondent for the Associated Press and BusinessWee, Mr. Raeburn is author of several books, most recently Acquainted with the Night: A Parent’s Quest to Understand Depression and Bipolar Disorder in His Children. He has been a member of the boards of both the National Association of Science Writers and the Council for the Advancement of Science Writing.
Paul is a journalist who is author of the Fathers and Families blog for Psychology Today and a memoir, Acquainted with the Night, about raising kids with depression and bipolar disorder.
Mary Smart, Vice President
